I’m eating my way through the Mission in San Francisco this week, here for an incredible writing opportunity called the Op-Ed Project.
Some of my favorite places so far include Mission Pie (not only incredible pie, but wholesome breakfasts like this), Tahini (inspiring my very first Yelp review) and Four Barrel Coffee (the “slow coffee” bar is totally worth it).
And of course, I had to pay tribute at Tartine Manufactory. I could not believe the bounty within walking distance.
We’re in such a food renaissance and an awareness of the role of food in our lives. Sure, it’s for pleasure but good real food is key to our overall wellness. And I firmly believe that everyone deserves nourishing food.
Forage Blog is a Top 50
I’m excited to share that this blog was just named to the Top 50 Whole Food Blogs on the web list. When I clicked on the link with the announcement, I could not believe the company I’m in.
Naturally Ella. Love and Lemons. Whole New Mom. The First Mess.Wow, these are the blogs I follow and admire. I mean, 101 Cookbooks?
Granted, my blog is a ways further down the list, but I’m so happy to be included at all.
Ever since I relaunched my blog in February, I decided not to even look at any traffic numbers. I just wanted to put my head down and write posts that readers might find valuable and to practice photography.
For everyone into cooking with real food, this 50 Best list is pretty fun to peruse. And you can sign up to use Feedspot’s freemium content reader if you like.
I’m giving it a try because I keep finding that I’ll subscribe to blogs via email and then I just don’t find time to read them all. Please tell me that it’s not just me!
If you like what you see on Forage, would you please share it with your friends?
And if you sign up as a subscriber, you receive a monthly update with bonus recipes, more links and other news. No pop ups. No ads.
Just real recipes and cooking tips written by me.
Happy reading. Happy eating. With love.
